29 CFR 1910.67(b)(2): A modified aerial lift(s) was not certified by the manufacturer or NRTL as being at least as safe as the equipment was before modification:  a) Worksite: The working platform (bucket) to a Ford truck w/aerial lift, had been field modified by having 1/2 inch holes drilled into the bottom of the bucket to allow water to escape. Over time one of the holes had widened to 1.25 inches and the bottom of the bucket which weakened the platform bottom. There was no written evidence submitted that showed the manufacturer of the lift approved of the modification.
