29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):  Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems, nor were the   employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b):    a)  Employees performing carpentry work were exposed to falls of approximately 16.8 feet to the ground while working at the edge of the deck.    b)  Employees performing carpentry work were exposed to falls of up to 25 feet from unprotected window openings of the first and second floor of the single family house.     c)  Employees performing carpentry work were exposed to falls of approximately 11.3 feet from an unprotected walkway between the two wings of the singe family house.

29 CFR 1926.1052(c)(1):  Stairways having four or more risers or rising more than 30 inches (76 cm), whichever is less, were not equipped with at least one handrail and one stairrail system along each unprotected side or edge:      a)  Employees were exposed to fall hazards while using a stairway in the garage that was not equipped with stair rail system.    b)  The employer provided for employee use a stairway to access the second floor of the structure, that was not fully equipped with stair rail system.
