29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not initiate and maintain programs which provided for frequent and regular inspections of the job site, materials and equipment to be made by a competent person(s):    The employer failed to conduct frequent and adequate inspections of the job site prior to exposing their employees to fall hazards associated with working off a scissor lift/mobile scaffold  while they were erecting steel on a commercial construction remodel.  The most recent example of this was found on the job site located at 3301 S. Jeffers St. North Platte, NE 69103 where the employer had employees using a SLH model # 2584 scissor lift (mobile scaffold) with inadequate guard railing to connect steel roof trusses to horizontal I beams on a commercial construction site without the use of alternate forms of fall protection.

The employer failed to protect employees from fall hazards associated with working off a scissor lift/mobile scaffold  while they were erecting steel on a commercial construction remodel.  The most recent example of this was found on the job site located at 3301 S. Jeffers St. North Platte, NE 69103 where the employer had employees using a SLH model # 2584 scissor lift (mobile scaffold) with inadequate guard railing to connect steel roof trusses to horizontal I beams on a commercial construction site without the use of alternate forms of fall protection.
