29 CFR 1910.178(l)(1)(ii): Prior to permitting an employee to operate a powered industrial truck (except for training purposes), the employer shall ensure that each operator has successfully completed the training required by this paragraph (l), except as permitted by paragraph (l)(5).    The employer had not ensured that powered industrial truck operators of stand up lift trucks, i.e. cherry pickers had successfully completed training as required by paragraph (l).     Presitige Display & Packaging LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 915535, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on July 12, 2013, with respect to a workplace located at 375C Northpointe Drive, Fairfield, OH 45014.
