29 CFR 1910.179(m)(1): A thorough inspection of all ropes was not made at least once a month and a certification record which included the date of the inspection, signature of the person who conducted the inspection and an identifier for the ropes which were inspected was not kept on file where readily available to appointed personnel: a) Tidewater Yacht Marina: On or about 01/15/2015, a thorough wire rope inspection for the Marine Travelift MDL#60-BFM, Serial #1877-184 was not performed at least monthly and certification records were not prepared. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

No abatement certification or documentation required.
