For a full eight hour work shift this exposure is equivalent to an average sound level of 98.5 dBA. Exposure calculations include a zero increment for the 70 minutes not sampled. b) Layout Area: On or about March 24, 2015, and times prior there to, employee(s) in the layout area, approximately 20-25 feet from two abrasive blasting booths, including a Model J Automatic Sandblaster (SN: 9901580-10) and a Ruemelin Sand Blaster (Model INSPDR, SN: 48829), were exposed to continuous noise at a dose of 74.5% (8-Hour Time Weighted Average sound level of 85 dBA) during the 410 minute sampling period. For a full eight hour work shift this exposure is equivalent to an average sound level of 87.8 dBA. Exposure calculations include a zero increment for the 70 minutes not sampled.
