OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause serious physical harm to employees in that two pieces of conduit in a concrete slab were exposing employees to trip and fall hazards.  a) Cole Haan Unit - On or about March 11, 2015, two pieces of conduit protruding from the concrete floor inside the building were not covered and employees were exposed to hazards associated with tripping over the conduit and possibly falling onto the concrete floor.  OR IN THE ALTERNATIVE  29 CFR 1926.200(c)(1): Caution signs were not used only to warn against potential hazards or to caution against unsafe practices:  a) Cole Haan Unit - On or about March 11, 2015, the employer did not ensure that caution signs were posted to warn employees of the hazards associated with tripping over two pieces of conduit protruding from the concrete floor it and possibly falling onto the concrete floor due to the pieces of conduit not being covered.
