29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems, nor were the employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b): a) Employees performing carpentry work were exposed to falls of approximately 10 feet to the ground from an unprotected walkway on the second story overlooking the staircase. b) Employees performing carpentry work were exposed to falls of up to 15 feet from unprotected window openings on the second floor of the single family house. c) Employees were unprotected from the hazard of falling approximately 20.6 feet while sheeting the roof to a new single family house. d) Employees performing carpentry work were exposed to falls of approximately 8.3 feet from an unprotected open hole leading down into the basement of the house.
