29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1): Portable fire extinguishers were not mounted, located and identified so that they were readily accessible without subjecting the employees to injuries: (a) In the Welding Shop, access to a portable fire extinguisher was blocked by a file cabinet, as well as metal parts and material, exposing the employees to a fire and tripping hazard in the event of a fire. (b) In Shipping/Receiving, access to a portable fire extinguisher was blocked by a large bin, and wood pallets with boxes, exposing the employees to a fire and tripping hazard in the event of a fire.
