OSH ACT of 1970 Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to an unexpected release of energy stored in strands under tension:  a) This violation occurred on or about April 3, 2015, and at times prior thereto; where at least one (1) employee pre-stressing strand was exposed to cable impalement from an unexpected release of energy stored in strands under tension.
