29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: a) In the Materials Handling section of Fabrication, employees were using a a table saw without a guard to cut cardboard tubing to make supports, on or about April 13, 2015. b) In the Materials Handling section of Fabrication, employees were using a Sears Craftsman 10-Inch Table Saw, 3 HP with an unguarded pulley belt to cut cardboard tubing, as observed on or about April 13, 2015.
