OSH ACT of 1970 Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to electrical shock hazards:  On or about April 16, 2015, and at times prior thereto, the employer did not ensure hatchery building employees working at or near fish vats in the middle hatchery, west hatchery and east hatchery were protected from the hazard of electrical shock.    a. Middle hatchery and west hatchery, electrical receptacles in wet locations such as over fish vats were not provided with equipment enclosures that were weatherproof.        b. Middle hatchery and west hatchery, light fixtures over fish vats did not minimize the entrance of foreign matter and/or were not protected by a physical guard, were not watertight.    c. Hatchery building, lower end east and middle hatchery, circuit breaker panels were not marked for what each circuit breaker controlled.    Pursuant to 29 CFR 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the date of this citation, the employer must submit documentation describing the steps that is taking to ensure electrical hazards are corrected.     Dunns Fish Farms of Arkansas, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard which was contained in OSHA inspection number 917739, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on January 31, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at 17774 County Road 1660, Fittstown, OK 74842.
