29 CFR 1910.178(l)(1)(i): The employer did not ensure that each powered industrial truck operator is competent to operate a powered industrial truck safely, as demonstrated by the successful completion of the training and evaluation specified in this paragraph (l):   At this establishment, employees were permitted to operate powered industrial trucks such as, but not limited to, a Caterpillar V300B, forklift truck with a capacity of 30,000.00 Lbs., without the employer ensuring the operator was competent to operate the fork lift truck.
