29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system.  Or, on roofs 50-feet (15.25 m) or less in width, each employee was not protected by use of a monitoring system.   A) 224 & 226 E. Gwinnett St. on or about April 30, 2015, employees were removing roofing material (shingles) from a low slope roof without using fall protection equipment or other alternative fall protection measures, exposing the employees to a fall hazard of approximately 13 feet.   Derek Adams dba Roofing Experts, was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 314096413 citation number (1), item number (1), and was affirmed on December 22, 2011 through an informal settlement agreement, with respect to a workplace located at 104 Bobstay Court, Savannah, GA.
