29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): (a) 1306 ALSACE ROAD, READING PA - Employees performing roofing work on a 7/12 pitch roof were not protected by any means of fall protection, thereby exposing the employees to fall hazards ranging from approximately ten (10) to twenty (20) feet to the ground below, on or about April 29, 2015. No abatement certification or documentation required.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(2): The employer did not assure that each employee exposed to fall hazards was trained by a competent person qualified in the areas specified in 29 CFR 1926.503 (a)(2)(i) through (viii): (a) 1306 ALSACE ROAD, READING PA - Employee(s) were performing roofing work at heights greater than six (6) feet, and the employee(s) had not received any training on fall hazards or fall protection, thereby exposing the employee(s) to possible injuries, on or about April 29, 2015. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
