29 CFR 1910.134(h)(2)(i): Respirators were not stored to protect them from damage, contamination, dust, sunlight, extreme temperatures, excessive moisture, and damaging chemicals or were not packed or stored to prevent deformation of the facepiece and exhalation valve: (Construction Reference 1926.103). Location 195 McGregor St., Manchester, NH: On or about May 11, 2015, employees were sandblasting surfaces which contained arsenic, cadmium, and lead. During this work employees were wearing sandblasting helmets (respirators). The respirators were stored in the area where the sandblasting was being conducted and were not stored in a way that prevented them from being contaminated by arsenic, cadmium, or lead.

Location 195 McGregor St., Manchester, NH: On or about May 11, 2015, employees were sandblasting surfaces which contained lead, arsenic and cadmium. Worker hand washing facilities consisted of a single bucket that was change out once a day. There was no bucket provided for rinsing. Note: Suitable handwashing facilities are also required for use by employees exposed to lead in accordance with 1926.62(i)(5)(i). The Environmental Compliance Specialists, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 899422, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on June 20, 2013, with respect to a workplace located at 21 Dover St. Dover, NH 03820.
