29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:  a) Taylor Farms New Jersey, Inc., 406 A Heron Drive, Swedesboro, New Jersey,  Fruit Room, south wall - Ten openings, each approximately twenty inches by five inches, located along each side of the frame of conveyor TFNJ 055 (five openings per side) were unguarded, exposing the sides of the moving conveyor belt. On or about 5/21/15, a sanitation worker was injured when his hand entered through one of the openings and became caught on the moving conveyor belt.  NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
