29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(1) referenced by 29 CFR 1926.59: The employers did not have a material safety data sheet in the workplace for each hazardous chemical which they used:  At the project, there were no safety data sheets or material safety data sheets for Crown Lacquer Thinner, Zinsser Fast Prime 2, and Mohawk Dura Coat Pre-Catalyzed Lacquer which employees applied to the cabinets.  The sheets were not found in the onsite truck or smart phone.  Employees were exposed to the hazards of fire and contacting the chemicals.

29 CFR 1926.51(f)(1): The employer did not provide adequate washing facilities for employees engaged in the application of paints, coating, herbicides, or insecticides, or in other operations where contaminants may be harmful to the employees.  Such facilities were not in near proximity to the worksite and were not so equipped as to enable employees to remove such substances:  At the project, adequate washing facilities were not provided for employees that sprayed and applied Crown Lacquer Thinner, Zinsser Fast Prime 2, and Mohawk Dura Coat Pre-Catalyzed Lacquer on the cabinets.  Labels on the containers said to wash with soap.  Employees were exposed to the hazard of prolonged contact with the chemicals.
