29 CFR 1926.62(d)(1)(i): Each employer who had a workplace or operation covered by 29 CFR 1926.62 did not initially determine if any employee was exposed to lead at or above the action level of 30 micrograms per cubic meter of air (30 micro g/m3) calculated as an 8-hour time-weighted average (TWA):  a. During reconstruction work at 300 W. 3rd St., Rolla, MO on 5-28-15, where wood trim was removed that contained paint up to 35% lead, an initial determination was not made to determine employee exposure to airborne lead.  Abatement certification and abatement documentation is required for this violation.  The documentation should include written verification of abatement, applicable measurements or monitoring results, and photographs or videos which you believe will be helpful.  The abatement certification sheet is enclosed with the citation(s).
