29 CFR 1926.416(a)(1): No employer shall permit an employee to work in such proximity to any part of an electric power circuit that the employee could contact the electric power circuit in the course of work, unless the employee is protected against electric shock by deenergizing the circuit and grounding it or by guarding it effectively by insulation or other means. a. On or about June 4, 2015, an employee was pulling an electrical wire when the employee made contact with a 277 VAC electrical current resulting in electrical shock due to the circuit not being deenergized.

On or about June 4, 2015, employees were pulling an electrical wire through conduit that had live 277 VAC electrical current without any tags to identify the circuits being worked on, thereby exposing the employees to an electrical shock hazard.
