29 CFR 1910.242(b): Compressed air used for cleaning purposes was not reduced to less than 30 p.s.i.:  In the shop area at the site of the Kalamazoo horizontal band saw Model 113AWSA Serial Number SA440 the employer did not ensure that compressed air used for cleaning was reduced to at least 30 PSI. Employees utilizing 50 PSI compressed air for cleaning were exposed to the hazard of injecting compressed air into their body.

29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(3)(iv):   The details of the hazard communication program developed by the employer, did not include an explanation of the labels received on shipped containers and the workplace labeling system used by their employer; the safety data sheet, including the order of information and how employee could obtain and use the appropriate hazard information:  The employer has not updated the hazard communication program and trained employees on the portion of the hazard communication program that explains the labels on shipping containers and the safety data sheets for items such as but not limited to cutting fluids, paint, hydraulic fluid and lubricating oils including the order of information and how the employee could obtain and use the hazard information.
