29 CFR 1926.501(c)(3): The employer did not barricade the area to which objects could fall, did not prohibit employees from entering the barricaded area, and did not keep objects that could fall far enough away from the edge of a higher level so that the materials could not blow off the roof and strike workers working on the ground below the roof: Instance A. Location- 165 Cambridge Park Drive, Cambridge, MA: On or about May 20, 2015, the employer failed to barricade off the building's exit/entry way to prevent employees and other workers from being struck by falling or dropped materials while employees worked from above this entryway. Instance B. Location- 165 Cambridge Park Drive, Cambridge, MA: On or about May 20, 2015, plywood and other materials stored on the roof were not secured to prevent them from being blowing off the roof and striking other workers working on the ground below the roof.
