29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents.   On or about June 10, 2015 at worksite 9808 N. Overton Avenue in Kansas City, Missouri- Employee was using a pnematic nail gun to nail wood to the second floor of a residential home without having any means of eye or face protective equipment.   Abatement certification for this item is not required.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:  On or about June 10, 2015 at a job site located at 9808 N. Overton Avenue in Kansas City, MO - employees were exposed to serious injuries, in that the unprotected sides and edges of the elevated work area was not provided with guardrails or any other means of fall protection.     Abatement certification for this violation is not required.

29 CFR 1926.1052(c)(1):  Stairways having four or more risers or rising more than 30 inches (76 cm), whichever is less, were not equipped with at least one handrail and one stairrail system along each unprotected side or edge:   On or about June 10, 2015 at a job site located at 9808 N. Overton Avenue in Kansas City, Missouri- workers were exposed to serious slip, trip and fall hazards while using stairways from the basement to the first floor and from the first floor to the secound.  The stairways lacked handrails and no stairrail systems were in place on unprotected sides.
