An employee working from a pump jack scaffold working platform was exposed to a fall hazard of 20-feet 3-inches as the support poles of the pump jack scaffold system were bearing directly on the ground and not on the base plates or any other adequate firm foundation.

29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1): Employees on scaffolds more than 10 feet (3.1 m) above a lower level were not protected from falling to that lower level by fall protection established in paragraphs (g)(1)(i)-(vii) of this section: (a) Front of units 701 and 702 at 2600 Bentley Road SE, Marietta, Georgia. An employee working from a pump jack scaffold working platform was exposed to a fall hazard of 20-feet 3-inches as no guard rail or safety net system had been installed to protect the open ends and edges of the working platform. Additionally, the exposed employee was not wearing a personal fall arrest system.
