OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that they were exposed to the hazards of heat stress: a.) The employer failed to adequately implement a work/rest regiment to reduce the heat stress for an employee working in a hot environment with temperatures around 96 degrees Fahrenheit. This violation occurred on June 10, 2015 at the jobsite in Mansfield, LA.
