29 CFR 1910.95(c)(1): The employer did not administer a continuing, effective, hearing conservation program as described in 29 CFR 1910.95 (c) through (o) whenever employee noise exposures equal or exceed an 8-hour time-weighted average sound level of 85 decibels measured on the A scale, or equivalently a dose of fifty percent:    Building #8; The employer did not implement a continuing, effective, hearing conservation program for employees exposed to noise equal to or exceeding the 8-hour time-weighted average sound level of 85 decibels or a dose of fifty percent:    (a) Welding Area, Booth #5; A welder was exposed to continuous noise at 95.52 % of the permissible daily noise exposure (8-hour time weighted average sound level of 85 dBA) or an equivalent sound level of approximately 89.7 dBA during the 472 minute sampling period on 07/15/15; exposure calculation included a zero increment for the 8 minutes not sampled.     (b) Welding Area, Booth #6; A welder was exposed to continuous noise at 109.4 % of the permissible daily noise exposure (8-hour time weighted average sound level of 85 dBA) or an equivalent sound level of approximately 90.7 dBA during the 472 minute sampling period on 07/15/15; exposure calculation included a zero increment for the 8 minutes not sampled.
