29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system.  Or, on roofs 50-feet (15.25 m) or less in width, each employee was not protected by use of a monitoring system:  a) On or about July 15, 2015, during roofing work, the employer did not ensure that employees performing roofing work in excess of (6) feet above lower levels with unprotected sides and edges was protected from falling by having a warning line system and safety monitoring system.  The employer does not require the use of any form of fall protection during roofing work.  This violation was most recently observed during residential construction at 522 N. 3rd Ave., Stratford, WI 54484, where four (4) employees were not protected from fall hazards of approximately seventeen (17) feet to the ground on a low slope roof.
