29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface having an unprotected side or edge which was six or more feet (1.8m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest system.  Employees, at this commercial construction site, were exposed to falls of greater than 6 feet to next surface while laying cinderblock brick to form the wall of a building.  Employee was approximately 6 feet two inches from ground surface.
