29 CFR 1910.132(h)(1): Except as provided by paragraphs (h)(2) through (h)(6) of this section, the protective equipment, including personal protective equipment (PPE), used to comply with this part, shall be provided by the employer at no cost to employees:    Hosting Employer:   SMM New England Corporation                              dba SIMS Metal Management                              234 Universal Drive                              North Haven, CT 06473    The employees, assigned and working at the above hosting employer's worksites were not provided with any personal protective equipment (PPE), such as (but not limited to) hard hats, leather gloves, and welding gear; lwelding helmet, leather apron, and leather sleeves, and the employees had to purchase the PPE at their own costs.
