29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:      a) MC Hotels, LLC. DBA MC Hotel Construction @ 4341 Veterans Memorial Parkway, St. Peters, MO 63376: On and before July 10, 2015, the controlling employer did not ensure that exposed employees, who constructed a multi-story, wood frame, commercial building, were protected from falls. A sub-contracted employee set floor trusses and a crush bar while he stood on the exterior top plate of the third floor of the structure. This condition exposed the employee to a fall hazard of approximately 33 feet.      b) MC Hotels, LLC. DBA MC Hotel Construction @ 4341 Veterans Memorial Parkway, St. Peters, MO 63376: On and before July 10, 2015, the controlling employer did not ensure that exposed employees, who constructed a multi-story, wood frame, commercial building, were protected from falls. Sub-contracted employees erected walls on the third floor without the use of a fall protection system. This condition exposed employees to a fall hazard of approximately 33 feet.
