Abatement certification must be submitted for this item.

29 CFR 1926.451(f)(7): Scaffolds were not erected, moved, dismantled, or altered, by trained and experienced employees under the supervision and direction of a competent person qualified in scaffold erection, moving, dismantling or alteration:; Such activities were not performed only by experienced and trained employees selected for such work by the competent person. a) At the jobsite, on or about 7/29/15: Two workers were inside the elevated basket of an aerial lift approximately 20 feet from ground and were not wearing a harness, and were not otherwise attached to the boom or basket. Fall protection equipment was available on the jobsite, the workers and the employer had training on use of fall protection equipment, however a competent person was not available to direct workers to use that equipment in this application. Abatement certification must be submitted for this item.
