29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(3)(iii): Employee training did not include the measures employees can take to protect themselves from chemical hazards, including specific procedures the employer had implemented to protect employees from exposure to hazardous chemicals, such as appropriate work practices, emergency procedures and personal protective equipment to be used: (Construction Reference: 1926.59)    At the construction site located at 204 East 21st Street in Austin, Texas, on or about July 2, 2015, and in times prior thereto, hazard communication training did not include appropriate personal protective equipment to be worn for protection of the eyes and/or face from corrosive chemical splashes for employees who were mixing corrosive Mapei Ultraflex 2 Tile Mortar With Polymer in water, exposing employees to the hazards of corrosive chemical splashes.

29 CFR 1926.50(g): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use:    At the construction site located at 204 East 21st Street in Austin, Texas, on or about July 2, 2015, and in times prior thereto, eyewash facilities for quick flushing of the eyes/face were not provided for employees who were mixing corrosive Mapei Ultraflex 2 Tile Mortar With Polymer in water, exposing employees to the hazards of corrosive chemical splashes.
