29 CFR 1910.213(b)(3): Provisions were not made to prevent woodworking machine(s) from automatically restarting upon restoration of power after power failure: a) On or about July 13, 2015; rear area of shop; the table saw used in the process was not equipped with an anti-restart/magnetic switch that would ensure the equipment would not re-start in the event of a power outage and restoration. Abatement certification and documentation required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date and method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. Abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement or other written records.
