(b) The Food Prep Area - A mezzanine storage area had an open sided floor with a seven foot five inch drop; on or about 8/25/15.       THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM IN THE ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19

29 CFR 1910.36(d)(1): Employee(s) were not able to open an exit route door from the inside at all times without keys, tools, or special knowledge:     (a)  In the Production Area - A keypad code was required to access a roll down steel gate.  The emergency exit was behind it; on or about 08/25/15.     (b) The Receiving Area - A roll down plastic gate was raised by an up/down switch.  This gate allowed access to the emergency exit; on or about 08/25/15.      NOTE:  THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM IN THE ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19
