29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1): The employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards are present, or are likely to be present, which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment (PPE):  A. Eco Tree Services, LLC worksite located at the intersection of Oster Rd. & Irving Park Blvd, Sheffield Lake, Ohio: On or about August 27, 015, the employer did not ensure a personal protective equipment assessment was conducted for employees trimming downed trees prior to feeding them into the chipper. Employees were operating chainsaws without the use of face shields and leg chaps.
