29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:  (a)  The lower half of the blade guard for the cold cut off saw in the cut line was missing, exposing employees to point of operation and rotating parts hazards.  (b)  The Enco Vertical drill press was not provided with a chuck guard to protect employees from rotating machine parts.  (c)  The HAAS CNC V-5 vertical mill was not guarded to protect employees when the machine doors were opened when the machine was in operation.  NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM.  FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19
