An effective assured equipment grounding program includes, but is not limited to, the following:  1) All cord sets and receptacles are inspected before first use and every 3 months.  2) All cord sets and receptacles shall be tested for continuity and shall be electrically continuous.  3) All cord sets and receptacles shall be tested for polarity.  4) A written program describing the assured equipment grounding program shall be developed.  5) Documentation of the cord sets and receptacles inspections shall be maintained.
