29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(C): Unless specifically permitted otherwise in paragraph (g)(1)(ii) of this section, flexible cords and cables may not be run through doorways, windows, or similar openings:    MAIN OFFICE CONFRENCE ROOM: On or about September 17, 2015, and at times prior thereto, workers were exposed to an electrical shock hazard while entering and exiting the conference room where an extension cord was run through the doorway, causing damage to the outer jacket when the door was opened and closed.
