29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents.   At the jobsite, employees operating Hitachi nail guns while performing decking activities were not wearing eye protection, exposing employees to the hazard of being struck by flying objects.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure.  At the jobsite, employees engaged in framing activities at a height of over 6 feet were not protected by a fall arrest system. Employees were exposed to an unprotected fall of over 15 feet to the ground below.  Los Framer Boyz was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 945545, Citation Number 1, Item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on December 27, 2013, with a final abatement date of January 1, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at 12425 Bella Amore Drive, Aledo, TX 76008.
