(a) Medical Office: Employees including, but not limited to Doctors have exposure to blood and other potentially infectious material, in that they conduct patient examinations and used a conventional Terumo Ref. #SS-0172516 syringes to administer Tuberculin, although safety syringes were available for purchase, on or about October 19, 2015.

The employer shall institute a training program and ensure employee participation in the program. 29 CFR 1910.1030(g)(2)(ii): Training shall be provided as follows: 29 CFR 1910.1030(g)(2)(ii)(A): At the time of initial assignment to tasks where occupational exposure may take place; 29 CFR 1910.1030(g)(2)(ii)(B): At least annually thereafter. a) Medical Office: A Doctor in training had exposure to blood and other potentially infectious material in the tasks assigned, but initial training regarding the Exposure Control Plan was not conducted, thus potentially exposing the employee and others to bloodborne pathogens, on or about October 14, 2015.
