Castleberry Village Cir., Cumming, GA:  Employees were observed installing roofing shingles on to the roof of an apartment complex that was under construction with a pneumatic nail gun without safety glasses.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):    On or about 10/22/15 located at Unites 53-56. Castleberry Village Cir., Cumming, GA: Employees were installing roofing shingles on the 6/12 pitch roof of a apartment complex that was under construction while working at the edge, the employer did not ensure that fall protection were used by the employees while exposed to fall hazards of approximately 30 feet.

Castleberry Village Cir., Cumming, GA: Employees were exposed to fall hazards, while performing roofing work, employees were using a portable extension ladder to gain access to the 6/12 pitch roof, and the ladder was only 24 inches above the landing surface.

On or about 10/22/15 located at Unites 53-56. Castleberry Village Cir., Cumming, GA: Employees were exposed to fall hazards, while performing roofing work, employees were using a portable extension ladder to gain access to the roof and the ladder was damaged on the 2nd rung and missing.
