29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(6)(ii): Except as provided in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(7) and 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(8), the employer did not ensure that each container of hazardous chemicals in the workplace was labeled, tagged or marked with the product identifier and words, pictures, symbols, or combination thereof, which provide at least general information regarding the hazards of the chemicals and which, in conjunction with the other information immediately available to employees under the hazard communication program, would provide employees with the specific information regarding the physical and health hazards of the hazardous chemical  a) Zuni Wellness Center, LLC at 5098 Paris Street, Denver, CO 80239:  On or before October 27th, 2015, employees working in the processing area were utilizing containers filled with isopropyl alcohol to clean glassware and tools.  The bottles did not have labels which conveyed general information regarding physical and health hazards of the hazardous chemical.

29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area:  a) Zuni Wellness Center, LLC at 5098 Paris Street, Denver, CO 80239:  On or before October 27th, 2015, employees working with or around butane, isopropyl alcohol, and various pesticides were exposed to potential health and safety hazards associated with the use of these products.  The employer failed to ensure that employees had received appropriate hazard communication training which included discussion on such issues as dermal sensitizers, corrosive chemicals, and general irritants.  These chemicals were used in the grow area and the processing room.

29 CFR 1910.141(g)(2): Employees were permitted to consume food or beverage in area(s) exposed to toxic materials:  a) Zuni Wellness Center, LLC at 5098 Paris Street, Denver, CO 80239:  On or before October 27th, 2015, employees were allowed to consume food in the break area which had reasonably been exposed to toxic materials.  Pesticides, fungicides, and bactericides applied in the grow area immediately adjacent to the break area had the potential to migrate into the break room and expose employees and their food to toxic materials.
