29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): The employer is failing to protect employees from potential fall hazards associated with framing a new residential home where the ground to the walking working surface is greater than 6 feet. The most recent occurrence of this was found on the job site located at 4009 N. 190th St., Elkhorn, NE 68022 where the employer has unprotected employees exposed to 14 foot fall hazards while performing leading edge work as they framed the second floor of a two story new home.
