29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): "Steep roofs." Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:    Located throughout the commercial structure of steep roof, employee's were observed using a roof rack to remove shingles without the use of any fall protection system. Potential fall height was measured greater than 25' with a roof pitch measured to be 6 in 12 pitch.
