29 CFR 1910.133(a)(1):  The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation:    (a)   Peerless Tires 4 Less at 2216 N. Lincoln Ave, Loveland, CO 80538:  On or before    October 8, 2015 the employer did not ensure that employees who use pneumatic impact wrenches to remove lug nuts from vehicle wheels utilize safety glasses.  Employees use pneumatic impact wrenches to remove the lug nuts from vehicle wheels for tire repair or replacement.  This condition exposed employees to the hazard of projectiles to the eyes.

29 CFR 1910.244(a)(1)(ii): The rated load was not legibly and permanently marked in a prominent location on the jack by casting, stamping, or other suitable means:      (a)  Peerless Tires 4 Less at 2216 N. Lincoln Ave, Loveland, CO 80538:  On or before    October 8, 2015 the employer did not ensure that the rated load was legibly and permanently marked in a prominent location by casting, stamping, or other suitable means.  Employees used floor service jacks to raise vehicles when removing vehicle tires.  Two floor jacks being used were missing load rating information.  This condition exposed employees to struck-by hazards.
