29 CFR 1926.451(f)(7): Scaffolds were not erected, moved, dismantled, or altered, by trained and experienced employees under the supervision and direction of a competent person qualified in scaffold erection, moving, dismantling or alteration. Such activities shall be performed ONLY by experienced and trained employees selected for such work by the competent person: Fort Bragg, SOF Battalion Ops Complex: On or about 11/13/2015, where an employee was injured after falling off of a 6-foot Baker's scaffold, the employer did not ensure that a competent person inspected the scaffold and trained employees on the specific scaffolding hazards associated with using this type of equipment. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

29 CFR 1926.454(a): The employer did not have each employee who performed work while on a scaffold trained by a person qualified in the subject matter to recognize the hazards associated with the type of scaffold being used and to understand the procedures to control or minimize those hazards: Fort Bragg, SOF Battalion Ops Complex: On or about 11/13/2015, where an employee was injured after falling off of a 6-foot Baker's scaffold, the employer did not ensure that employees performing glazing and glass installation work were trained by a qualified person on the hazards associated with using this type of equipment such as, but not limited to proper use, access, outriggers and inspection procedures. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
