29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:   a) 110 & 116 East High Street, Bellefonte, PA; An employee was standing on a 14 inch cinderblock wall while filling it with concrete 7 feet 2 inches above the ground without the use of fall protection, on or about 11/20/2015.  Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

29 CFR 1926.701(b): All protruding reinforcing steel, onto and/or into which employees could fall or come against, was not guarded to eliminate the hazard of impalement:   a) 110 & 116 East High Street, Bellefonte, PA; An employee was standing on a 14 inch cinderblock wall that had protruding uncapped rebar, on or about 11/20/2015.  Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
