29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a) At the jobsite, on or about December 3, 2015, employees working on the roof of a new single family residential dwelling installing asphalt roof shingles were not provided with fall protection, exposing employees to fall hazards of up to 17.2 feet onto the ground. b) At the jobsite, on or about December 3, 2015, employees were accessing the roof through a window opening on the second floor without any fall protection system in place, thus exposing employees to a fall hazard of 10.1 feet onto the ground.
