29 CFR 1926.451(b)(5)(ii): The end of a platform greater than 10 feet in length extended over its support more than 18 inches and the platform was not designed and installed so that the cantilevered portion of the platform is able to support employees without tipping or has guardrails which block employee access to the cantilivered end. Location: Building #4, 67 Boston Post Road, Madison, CT 06443 The 12 inch wide, 24 foot long aluminum scaffold platform spanning 12 feet on-center between two 32 foot long aluminum extension ladders extended five feet beyond the scaffold support on the east side of the scaffold and seven feet beyond the scaffold support on the west side of the scaffold support and was not equipped with guardrails to to block employee access to the cantilevered ends.
