29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:  a) NVR Building Products Facility located in Delanco NJ, Production Area, Rail Building: The Jet Drill Press, serial # 3110078 was not provided with a guard to prevent the operator from coming into contact with rotating parts and flying fragments. On 12/1/15 there was an incident in which an employees finger got pulled into the rotating bit resulting in the dislocation of a finger.  b)  NVR Building Products Facility located in Delanco NJ, Production Area, Rail Building:The Jet Drill press, serial # 30200893 was not provided with a guard to prevent the operator from coming into contact with rotating parts and flying fragments, on or about 12/1/15.  c) NVR Building Products Facility located in Delanco NJ, Production Area, Rail Building:The Baldor Drill press, serial # F1091 was not provided with a guard to prevent the operator from coming into contact with rotating parts and flying fragments, on or about 12/1/15.  d) NVR Building Products Facility located in Delanco NJ, Production Area, Rail Building: The Jet Drill press, serial #3020884 was not provided with a guard to prevent the operator from coming into contact with rotating parts and flying fragments, on or about 12/1/15.  e) NVR Building Products Facility located in Delanco NJ, Production Area, Rail Building: The Jet Drill press, serial ## 3020890 was not provided with a guard to prevent the operator from coming into contact with rotating parts and flying fragments, on or about 12/1/15.  NOTE:  THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 AS PER 29 CFR 1903.19.
